[Updated 4] Connection Issue

Hello Holotable Heroes, 

We are aware that certain folks are unable to connect to the game on both Android and iOS (Myself included, yayyyy). 

The team is investigating the issue. 

UPDATE: Team is still investigating what is causing certain players to not be able to use their mobile devices to access the game. 

Update 2: Potential Fix, it worked for me, I'm back in the game. There seems to be a bad token on Google Play Services and uninstalling their program and reinstalling it helps. Here is the image that I followed, let us know if this helped or if you're still running into the issue. 

 

Potential Additional Steps: 

Update 3: While we're happy to see the above workaround work for a majority of people, the team is still working with Googles team to figure out what is causing the issue in the first place. If you are still running into the Connection Lost issue, please DM me your Device Information and Ally code. Thank you. 

Update 4 11am 6/6 - Google has released a new version of the Google Play Services, please go download that and let us know if you're able to get in or not. Thank you

    This has been happening to me for over 12 hours now, will GAC and TW be delayed to allow us to participate? And will energy be given?

    Guildmate found a workaround.

    Launch the game, choose play as guest then go to the have an account button and choose link account instead of sign into Google play. It'll do the email code thing and let you in

    So it’s been an issue for over 2 weeks, and “here’s a workaround” but now that your account is affected  it’s gonna be investigated?  Good to know

     A pack for purchase will be available in the online store that will have directions to re-establish your connection. You have a 45% chance to get IOS instructions, a 45% chance to get Android instructions, and a 10% chance to get both.

    You can go the route of playing as a guest and connect through the ea connect in a new game through the upper left side settings button.

    My guild takes TW quite seriously,  its the single mode we enjoy the most. Our defensive scheme was compromised due to this prevalent issue. And now our offenses will be compromised as well. Of course in theory this equally impacts our opponent. I dont know because I can't log in though. 

    It seems quite obvious to me that this TW needs to be canceled and compensation includes at a minimum victory rewards for all members who signed up for this war. No guild should be forced to take an L due to CG side issues.

    If you ever want to know how to run customer service for your company or whoever, just do the exact opposite of whatever CG does. The CS standard is communicate, communicate, then communicate some more while CG practices the ignore, ignore, then ignore some more model. It must be working, some of us are still here.
