Connection since last patch

Hi, did something changed with the connection or net coding since last patch a few weeks ago? I've noticed my skater feels a slightly more agile, but it does make a big difference in the gameplay enjoyment. As it also helps to mitigate some more lacking aspect of the game. I suspect it's the connection because I also seldom get some lag spike, (like sometimes 5 per game) which i never had before. May justvbe my ISP tho. If it's a deliberate change, I like it minus the lag spike obviously.
